Funding a market carries a 3% seeding fee on your stake, taken once at funding time. Your remaining collateral is not guaranteed to come back in full, you're the market maker: if traders win on the market you funded, their winnings are paid out of your seed. Naugur's fixed-odds model caps any single trader's profit at the amount backing the other side of the market, so no one bet can cost you more than roughly what you put behind the losing outcome, but it can cost you that. A market that sees a lot of one-sided trading can return you less than you seeded; it can also return more, from trading fees and from bets that go your way. To keep every market fair for the people trading it, Forecasters never resolve or trade in markets they've funded, resolution is always handled by Naugur or its oracle.
